Arnold Wiigs Fabrikker sometime in The mid 1950’s. The studio was located in Halden Norway where unique hand made objects for the home where designed and made. The contours of the old schooner ship are incised in sgraffito technique. The blue and white parts of the ship are made of a glossy enamel against a black matte finish with a rough like texture. The two very different materials contrast very well allowing the image of the old schooner ship to pop.
It’s a wonderful Nautical theme that can be used for decorating at beach properties, your boat or just because you love nautical themes. See less
