Created in China during the Qing Dynasty, each of this pair of armchairs features a tall back, topped with a curving rail. The central section presents a concave-shaped pierced splat, carved with a dragon motifs. The rectangular seat with woven rattan inset, flanked with sinuous arms, is resting on four straight legs connected to one another through plain side stretchers and a delicately carved apron.
