The fine art lithograph print poster is published by The Galerie Beyeler Basel. printed in Switzerland by Wassermann A.G., Basel in 1961 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the " Teppiche " exhibition of Jean Arp, Paul Klee, Joan MIro and Pablo Picasso. It features an artwork image created by Miro in 1960 titled " Danseuse Espagnole ".

Joan Miro ( 1893 - 1983 ) The Spanish born painter, sculptor, and ceramicist of Jewish descent is considered to be one of the most important Abstract artists of all time. Earning international acclaim, his work has been interpreted as Surrealism, and breaking through boundaries of traditional concepts of the composition of an aesthetic image. he had significant influence on the Late 20th Century Abstract Expressionist artists. The artworks of Miro are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

When Ernst Beyeler renamed the art and book shop that he had been running for several years to the " Galerie Beyeler " in 1952, he laid the foundation for a unique career as an art dealer and collector. The most important Modern artists were represented at Beyeler. The exhibitions were not only well attended by local visistors, but also by international travelers. The high level of curation and expertise that was cultivated in The Galerie Beyeler artworks, was also exemplified in their fine art exhibition posters of that time.

The rare out of print Mid Century Modern fine art framed exhibition poster measures 25" W X 34 1/2" H X 7/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern navy marine blue matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling.
