The overall condition of the frame is good, still very sturdy, with a few scratches due to normal use; the yellow patina on the aluminium is because it was finished with a clear coat instead of being anodised (like they do now). The upholstery is not in great condition but it still has what seems to be its original micro-perforated black vinyl. The 4-slat back makes it a rare piece since all the models produced today have only 3 slats. It hasn’t been refinished or reupholstered in order to preserve it as original as possible for collectors.
