This set of two rare vintage 1920's Gouda Holland Art Nouveau hand painted floral signed Dutch art pottery handled ewer bottle vases is an incredibly special and unique set to add to your collection.
The Dutch art pottery ewer bottle vases with handles are made in Gouda Holland in the 1920's of ceramic clay. The round bottle jug shaped body forms are outstanding and impressive with the matte glaze finish gorgeous hand painted Art Nouveau style decorative floral design pattern details in a beautiful vibrant multicolor palette. The ewer vases are signed and numbered on the underside bottom.
The Gouda style of Dutch art pottery is named after the city of Gouda, where it was historically produced since The late 19th Century. Gouda Pottery gained worldwide prominence in The Early Twentieth Century with its diverse and visually distinctive appearance. The colorful illustrative decorative characteristic Art Nouveau style pottery remains highly collected and desirable.
