The handblown snuff bottle has a definitive round geometric form with eight segments. The ridges of each segment has a strip of red overlay ending kin a red circular ring at the base. The cap is an exquisite filigree with a turquoise bead at the center top. The stopper is cork and the spoon is metal.
The bottle is an unusual form and it shows age and use. I would date it the Chinese Republic period circa 1920's where collecting snuff bottles was popular and skilled glass makers who were active in the late Qing Dynasty were still alive to pass their skills on to young apprentices.
