Made of 800 silver and etched glass featuring a baroque / rococo farmhouse / country landscape courting scene of figures and angels / puttis, playing trumpets and lyres for the loving couple. Circa late 1800s. Carafes such as this were used to decant port or stronger alcoholic libations.
