These cuties have been used as mini accent pieces in our home in many a room over the years. Made sometime in the late mid-century (1970s), they are delightfully cute and will add charm in any space! Sold as a pair, the larger one measures 5¾” x 3½” x 3¼” W/H/D; interior 5” x 2½” x 2½” W/D/H; weight 7 oz. The smaller one measures 3½” x 2” x 2 ½” W/H/D; interior 2¾” x 1½” x 1¾” W/D/H; weight 2 oz. The larger one features split bamboo reeds on the exterior and lid top with bamboo trim all around on a bamboo wood frame; double butt brass hinges on the back join the top and the lid; front latch hook on the front. The smaller one offers a bamboo wood frame, rattan trim; open herringbone rattan weave exterior; double butt brass hinges on the back join the top and the lid; snap brass lock on the front. Both are in excellent condition, structurally sound with minimal wear. Whimsically cute and awaiting their new home!
