A rare to find pair of 18th century lead cast chandelier pulls or weights. Prior to electricity chandeliers used candles for light. They were lowered and raised by chain and pulley. These weights would counterbalance the chandelier. Probably used in a high ceiling church or home.
Measures 7” long, by 3 ¼” wide. Ornately cast and some traces of paint. Each weigh over 6 pounds. Will not find another pair!
