Tradition meets trend in this pair of Federal Chippendale chairs from the late 1800s, reimagined with leopard covered seats. Brilliant. I love these. I saw them at auction and thought they were so special. There are many possibilities. These are New England style in the deepest mahogany tone.The side chairs have pierced strapwork splat, shaped crest and trapezoidal slipseat.
The raised squared legs are joined by an H-stretcher.
