Stellar sommerso diamond faceted 'Geode' Murano Glass bowl by Alessandro Mandruzzato (Italy, 1970s). Made of very thick and heavy blue glass cased in a layer of clear glass. Honeycomb diamond faceted pattern on the exterior and flat cut polished top. High quality craftsmanship and extremely decorative object. It perfectly works as a bowl or catch-all. Can be used as a display piece on any table. Very large model (usually the ones offered on the market are smaller).
Diameter: 6.1''; height: 3''. Quite heavy: 1.5 kg. Very good vintage condition, light wear consistent with age and use at the bottom.
