This brass ice bucket with a teak lid and a black plastic inner-bucket was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1959-1960 for the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen. Part of the Cylinda-Line series, this is the brass version that was manufactured by Stelton in 1965 in a very limited amount, under the name Brass-ware. There are two cracks on the piece that do not cause a practical issue due to the inner plastic inserts that keeps the water from the ice inside. This is one of only 1000 ice buckets produced. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
