Beautiful and important sculpture representing the most famous Italian Hero of the Risorgimento. Excellent conditions. Carlo Rivalta (1887 – 1941) was an Italian painter and sculptor, known for his portraits characterized by a strong realistic connotation. He exhibited at the Venice Biennal. He became Honorary Academician of the Academy of Arts and Design of Florence in 1913. He was a teacher of Sculpture and later became the director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. This object is shipped from Italy.
