A distinctive pair of vintage custom swivel bar stools featuring sculptural wood frames in a richly mottled Zanzibar faux-burl finish. The elegantly shaped aprons, gracefully curved legs, and circular brass-tone footrests lend the stools a refined, architectural presence.
The generously upholstered swivel seats feature Duralee Pineapple tapestry fabric, showcasing an intricate tropical motif with palm trees and leopard-pattern detailing. The combination of the richly patterned upholstery and decorative wood finish creates a sophisticated Palm Beach aesthetic with elements of Hollywood Regency and British Colonial design.
Original production labeling identifies these stools as a custom order for Audrey Boys Interiors of Naples, Florida, with the Zanzibar finish and Duralee upholstery specifically selected for the project. This interior design provenance adds to the distinctive character of the pair, reflecting the thoughtful combination of materials, finishes, and decorative detailing.
