A monumental masterwork of mid-century Italian design. While the iconic Carlo Moretti Satinato line is famous for its slender, lightweight bud vases, this exhibition-scale chalice is an incredibly rare, architectural statement piece.
Standing a commanding 16 inches tall with an 8.25-inch rim diameter, it weighs a massive 9 pounds and 2 ounces. The vessel features a thick, solid-glass pedestal base engineered to support its immense hand-blown mass. The velvet, acid-treated matte finish beautifully diffuses light, giving the glass a soft, glowing presence.
With its rich, forest-toned color palette and commanding presence, this stately vessel makes an excellent centerpiece for the holiday dining table, effortlessly anchoring a seasonal tablescape or mantle display.
• Design & Scale: Monumental 16-inch display tier.
• Finish: Matte satin green.
• Base: Heavyweight solid pedestal stem.
• Versatility: Ideal as a high-end designer focal point or seasonal holiday centerpiece.
Condition Notes: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. Unsigned, as is typical for Moretti pieces of this era that originally relied on paper or foil labels. True to its authentic hand-blown Murano heritage, the glass features organic manufacturing birthmarks: a subtle tool indentation at the upper pedestal joint where the stem was shaped, and minor cooling rings on the lower body of the vase. A rare architectural anchor for high-end modern interiors.
Shipping Note:
Please note that the shipping charge includes premium, professional handling. Due to the significant weight and fragile nature of this monumental Murano piece, it will be securely double-boxed with heavy-duty cushioning. Full carrier insurance is also included in the shipping cost to ensure its safe arrival from Florida to your door.
