First edition in tuscan/italian of this important volume edited by the humanist Andrea Fulvio first in Latin, in 1513. Fulvio, a friend of Raphael (and his personal ''guide'' to roman ancient ruins), was one of the first to describe and publish surveys on important private collections in Roma such as that of Andrea Colocci (antiquities) and that of Cardinal Andrea della Valle (coins and medals) and on ancient buildings as they were in Rome in early 1500. Contemporary cover on parchment, in poor conditions. Binding weak. Inside page in excellent conditions, with very fresh printing of text and beautiful etchings.
