Slender faceted glass dressing-table jar topped with an ornate sterling silver lid. Raised floral and scrolling foliage decoration frames an engraved MHT monogram, while the underside of the lid has a gold-toned finish.
Estimated circa 1890–1920, based on the design. The lid is marked STERLING; manufacturer and country of origin are unknown. The body is described as faceted glass, as crystal composition has not been verified.
