Large 19.5" Antique Staffordshire Blue Feather Edge Pearlware Platter, Circa 1820-1840
A large English pearlware oval platter from Staffordshire, with a molded rim and cobalt blue feather edge decoration under a bright glaze. At nearly 20 inches long, it has real presence on a sideboard, as a table centerpiece, or hung on a wall. The body is clean and the glaze has kept its shine.
It’s a good fit for collectors of early English earthenware and for traditional, farmhouse, and cottage interiors.
