The chair features a graceful horseshoe-shaped back and arms surrounding a central back splat, with slender vertical supports and a simple plank seat. Its wonderfully aged blue-green painted finish has been artistically applied, revealing layers of darker pigment and exposed elm beneath and creating a richly textured patina.

With its sculptural silhouette and beautifully time-worn color, this chair makes a striking accent in an entryway, living room, bedroom, or alongside a console or writing table. The combination of traditional Chinese form, aged elm, and faded painted surface works beautifully in Santa Fe, boho chic, mountain modern, wabi-sabi, or eclectic interiors.
