A pioneering achievement in industrial design, it was the first chair manufactured from a single injection-molded piece of polypropylene. This chair features the model’s signature organic curves, minimalist silhouette, and removable legs for practical storage. Nominated for the 1979 Compasso d’Oro, the 4875 is a landmark of 20th-century Italian design, with examples held in the collections of the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Kartell Museum in Milan.
