Bring a touch of iconic Mid-Century Modern design to your next gathering with this striking vintage fish-shaped carving and serving board. Beautifully handcrafted in Mexico for the vintage importer Arte (El Cajon, CA), this authentic mid-century piece perfectly showcases the organic styling popular during the 1960s and 1970s.
The board features a richly grained, streamlined hardwood body marked with the maker's burned-in BMT logo on the reverse. It is handsomely accented by detailed, heavy cast-metal head and tail pieces. Equipped with a subtle perimeter juice groove to catch runoff, it is as functional for carving baked salmon or presenting a lavish charcuterie spread as it is beautiful displayed on a buffet or mounted as coastal kitchen wall decor. This is a pre-owned item so please see all pictures and ask any questions.
