Antique Victorian CherryBed Step Commode
A beautifully preserved piece of 19th-century history, this Victorian chamber pot commode showcases exceptional craftsmanship and classic design. Built from richly grained cherry with a warm, glowing patina, it features an elegant Ogee-curved silhouette and rests on original turned feet.
The hinged upper lid lifts to reveal the internal chamber pot compartment with its original concentric wooden insert ring. A lower, retractable pull-out step provides functional height assistance and features an elegant vintage paisley upholstered panel. Highly versatile, this rare survivor makes an incredible conversation piece that functions beautifully as a unique bedside accent table, library step, or historical curiosity.
