This is a beautiful mint-condition, large, vintage Christopher Radko "Hansel &"Gretel glass Christmas ornament, highly sought after for its charming depiction of the fairy tale characters in front of a gingerbread house.
It features a statement-sized scene with Hansel and Gretel standing hand in hand before a whimsically, deeply molded candy cottage adorned with red and white striped peppermint pillars, frosted snow, and sparkling candy details.
Remarkably heavy and large, this piece could serve as a stunning focal point for any luxury holiday display.
Like other Radko creations from this era, it is meticulously hand-blown and hand-painted by skilled European artisans, showcasing the vibrant glass artistry and immense scale that made Christopher Radko’s work famous. Although the tag is missing, this is a genuine vintage Radko piece. Unusually, it is fitted with an original vintage circular hanger clip, fully intact and securely attached to the ornament.
