The cabinet is dated 1863 but is likely older than that, from around 1840 to 1860. A good example of old ingenuity and compact living this piece combines three functions in one – clock, desk and cabinet. Made in pine and dry scraped by hand to the original paint with authentic patina and genuine distress. The clock face is wood and the mechanism is unusually old-fashioned with only one clock hand. The paint on the clock face was renovated during the early 1900s. Height to desk top is 65 cm. The bureau and clock are 97 cm and 133 cm tall respectively. See less
