This ornament is a rare, beautiful, and highly collectible Christopher Radko Christmas Ornament titled “Santa Sitting on a Candy Cane” (item number 12085).
It features a classic Santa Claus perched atop a vibrant, glittery red and white striped candy cane, holding a sparkling holiday gift. Part of a limited-edition release in partnership with the Human Rights Campaign for one year, 2009.
It includes the embossed metal star and original hook.
Produced in an extremely limited run, each piece was mouth-blown and hand-painted by artisans specializing in European techniques. Many came from renowned workshops, and due to the intricate silvering, lacquering, and glittering process—which took about SEVEN days per ornament—production volumes were capped.
