Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Fauteuils Neoclassical Arm Chairs by Christian Liaigre. These chairs were designed in 1996 and are a phenomenal pair of dark brown leather with ebonized oak wood frame. The designer, Christian Liaigre (1943–2020), was a legendary French interior designer and architect celebrated as a pioneer of modern 1990s minimalism. He is known for his ability to distill complex art forms into simple, balanced shapes, Liaigre redefined luxury through high-contrast materials, calming geometry, and a strict palette of neutral tones. These chairs are a testament to his vision and are no longer in production. They are both in good overall condition for their usage. Made in France.
