A raised central well, ringed in a vivid green band with a fine yellow-ochre line, anchors the composition for sauce or lemon. Around it, six deeply molded oyster compartments radiate outward, each shaped like a half shell and washed in a mottled, tortoiseshell-style brown glaze that shifts from deep chestnut to warm caramel. A larger, crescent-shaped reservoir at the base of the plate offers space for bread or garnish, its rim subtly ribbed to echo a seashell.
