This CCI Astor Cut Crystal Rose Bowl is a Cathedral Arches vase from Poland measuring 6.5 inches in diameter, produced by Crystal Clear Industries in the Astor pattern during the 1980s. The rounded globe-shaped bowl is deeply cut with pointed cathedral arches that rise vertically around the body, introducing a strong Gothic architectural influence.
Crosshatched diamond cutting surrounds the lower bowl, creating layered geometric facets that refract light throughout the clear crystal. A short, substantial circular foot anchors the design and carries additional decorative cutting. Weighing 3 lb, the piece has the substantial construction associated with traditional cut crystal and combines Victorian-inspired ornament with sharply defined architectural detail.
