Design Plus Gallery presents an Antique Chinese Bamboo Reclining Chair from the 1920s. This vintage chaise lounge showcases a bamboo frame with intricate woven cane detailing throughout the elongated reclining seat, backrest, and armrests. The curved silhouette includes a cylindrical woven headrest, extended leg support, and decorative bamboo cross-bracing along the base. The honey-toned bamboo displays natural variations in color and patina that reflect its age and history. Its distinctive construction highlights traditional Chinese furniture design from the early 20th century. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. It has one broken joint that requires repair and replacement rattan straps.
