This intricate solid brass sculpture features two birds resting at the base of a tree, with slender, flowing branches and sculpted leaves. A movable birdcage hangs beneath the uppermost branch, adding an interactive element to the composition. The Art Nouveau styled design balances organic forms with delicate structural details, offering a compelling view from every angle. It makes an elegant statement on a console, side table, or display shelf.
It remains in nice condition, with slight wear consistent with age, including tarnishing spots, some rust and corrosion stains, and a slightly bent cage bar. One cap nut on the bottom of the cage is missing. Please refer to the photos for details.
