A striking vintage Syroco sunburst wall clock featuring a layered gilt finish and classic Atomic Age styling. Produced by Syracuse Ornamental Co., this authentic mid-century piece embodies the bold decorative aesthetic that defined American interiors during the 1950s and early 1960s.
The sculptural frame is crafted of Syroco Wood composition material and finished entirely in gold, creating a dramatic interplay of light and shadow across the layered sunburst rays. The original clock face is marked Syroco and the reverse retains its original Syroco Wood label. The plug-in electric movement is marked "SYR 60 Cycle" and remains fully operational.
With its architectural form and warm gilt finish, this piece serves equally well as a functional timepiece and as wall sculpture. An excellent addition to Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, Atomic Age, or eclectic interiors.
