The trolley features a generously proportioned upper surface surrounded by a raised gallery, providing an attractive decorative detail while helping to keep glasses, bottles and serving pieces securely positioned during use. A useful drawer is incorporated beneath the upper surface, providing convenient concealed storage for cutlery, serving accessories and other smaller items. The drawer retains its original handle, preserving the established character of the piece. Below is a spacious undertier shelf, considerably increasing the available serving and storage capacity while maintaining the graceful and well-balanced proportions of the design. The trolley retains its original castors, allowing it to be moved conveniently around an interior while preserving an important element of its historic character. Throughout, the mahogany displays beautiful natural grain, rich warm colouring and an attractive established patina developed through generations of use.
