The gold-coloured frame is crowned by an intricate arrangement of scrolling acanthus leaves, flowers, and a central shell motif, reflecting the graceful transition between the Baroque and Rococo periods.

Surrounding the mirror plate is a distinctive blue marbled glass border that provides a subtle yet striking contrast to the gilt finish. This decorative detail adds depth and sophistication while enhancing the mirror's refined character. The carefully modelled corner and midpoint ornaments further enrich the composition, creating a balanced and highly decorative architectural appearance.

The combination of classical French-inspired ornamentation and the quality craftsmanship associated with Deknudt makes this mirror a versatile statement piece, suitable for use in an entryway, living room, bedroom, or above a console table. Its elegant proportions and luminous finish allow it to complement both traditional and eclectic interiors.

A Deknudt manufacturer's label is present on the reverse.
