Italian cheek table in neo-Renaissance style. Solid made of walnut wood. Late 19th century.
The table can be used as a freestanding desk or as a dining table.
Stringers in the form of large double volutes which merge into ornately carved lion feet. The connecting piece is fixed with wooden wedges and also carved with volutes and a shell in the center. Rectangular table top with surrounding frieze (egg bar).
Traces of former worm infestation partly visible (see photos).
Dimensions: 81 cm high, 215.5 cm wide, 85.5 cm deep.
The table can be transported in 4 parts.
