A beautiful handcrafted wall clock made from spalted beech wood, featuring striking natural grain patterns and distinctive dark figuring that make this an attractive, one-of-a-kind decorative piece.
The clock has been individually crafted from a circular section of beech, showcasing the unique spalting patterns formed naturally within the timber. The warm honey-coloured wood contrasts beautifully with the dramatic dark markings, creating a timeless organic appearance.
At the centre sits an elegant quartz clock with a traditional white dial, black Roman numerals, decorative black hands and a gold-tone surround.
The reverse is hand-signed "Tom Shaw" and inscribed "Spalted Beech", indicating the timber used and identifying the named maker. The precise identity of the craftsperson has not yet been independently established.
The piece combines traditional craftsmanship with a rustic, contemporary aesthetic, making it ideal for country homes, Scandinavian-inspired interiors, natural wood collections or modern living spaces.
