An impressive antique R.J. Horner mahogany corner cabinet, featuring an elegant architectural form, rich reddish-brown mahogany finish, and exceptional carved detailing. The beautifully shaped pediment is crowned with an elaborate carved crest and accented by intricately carved foliate and floral ornamentation. Fluted pilasters with carved capitals frame the upper display section, adding depth and refinement to the overall design.

The cabinet features a curved, glass-fronted upper section with multiple glass shelves, providing an ideal setting for displaying fine porcelain, crystal, silver, decorative arts, or other treasured collectibles. The lower section is distinguished by richly carved mahogany panels adorned with scrolling acanthus leaves and floral motifs. Delicate brass hardware, a molded base, and elegant bun feet complete this striking piece.

Made by the celebrated American furniture maker R.J. Horner of New York, renowned for producing finely crafted furniture during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, this cabinet exemplifies the elaborate carving, luxurious materials, and sophisticated craftsmanship associated with the period.
