Crafted from wood, the cases are finished in a creamy, opaque white paint with subtle relief detailing around the drawer fronts and corner stiles, which are carved with elegant fluted reeding. Two generous drawers sit behind gracefully bowed fronts, each fitted with original metal hardware: ornate, foliate bail pulls and matching escutcheon plates, cast in a soft, antiqued gold tone. A flowing, scalloped apron ties the case to four slender cabriole legs that sweep outward before ending in carved scroll feet. The painted surface has a satiny, softly worn character, with fine edge highlights that reveal the age and gentle use of the pieces. Feminine yet substantial, the nightstands balance romantic detail with a confident, generously scaled presence.

Place these beside a bed as a symmetrical pair, or use them as end tables flanking a sofa, as an entry console pairing, or in a dressing room. They complement French Provincial, Hollywood Regency, Grandmillennial, Cottage, and Coastal interiors. To care for them, dust with a soft dry cloth, wipe spills promptly with a lightly dampened cloth, and polish the hardware gently with a dry microfiber cloth, avoiding harsh cleaners and prolonged direct sunlight. Each nightstand measures 38 inches (965 mm) wide, 21.75 inches (552 mm) deep, and 29.25 inches (743 mm) high. Condition is very good, with a worn original painted finish, light scuffs and small nicks along the edges and legs, and original hardware intact. Add this charming pair to your bedroom today. See less
