This antique T. Kundtz Co. classroom school desk (circa 1900) features a classic integrated tandem design combining a student desk with a front-facing bench seat. The unit is constructed with a durable black-painted cast iron scrollwork frame that supports a slanted solid maple writing surface, a built-in lower book storage shelf, and a contoured wood slat seat and backrest. The light, natural maple wood displays an aged patina with historic surface wear, while the cast iron base features pre-drilled foot holes meant for bolting directly to a wooden schoolhouse floor. The top is Formica
