A slender, dark, gnarled trunk rises from a tapered black pot and flowers into a rounded, topiary-style crown of fine, forked branches. Dozens of lance-shaped leaves, hand-painted in deep emerald and soft sea green with subtle tonal variation, cluster densely at the canopy, while a few stray leaves and a cut branch stub along the trunk lend a convincing, naturalistic irregularity. Plump, textured lemons in saturated golden yellow hang throughout the foliage, their slightly pitted surfaces evoking the tactile rind of real fruit. The weighted pot carries a matte black finish with a worn, softly chalky surface that grounds the composition and contrasts beautifully with the vivid greens and yellows above. A gentle patina and faint scuffing across leaves and fruit add authenticity and depth, reflecting the long tradition of Italian tole-style craftsmanship. Cheerful yet refined, it is a lifelike botanical sculpture that never needs watering.

Place this lemon tree in an entry hall, sunroom, or kitchen corner, beside a sofa or fireplace, or on a covered patio for a Mediterranean accent. It complements Italian, Coastal, Hollywood Regency, Grandmillennial, and Cottage interiors. To care for it, dust the leaves and fruit gently with a soft dry brush or feather duster, spot clean with a barely damp cloth, and avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture, and intense direct sunlight to protect the painted finish. The piece measures 23.25 inches (591 mm) wide, 21 inches (533 mm) deep, and 57 inches (1448 mm) high. Condition is very good, with light age-appropriate wear, minor scuffs, and a soft patina, and it remains structurally sound. Bring home this charming statement piece today. See less
