Design Plus Gallery presents a Nine Piece Herrgården Dining Set by Carl Malmsten from Bodafors. This original mid-century Swedish collection showcases Gustavian-inspired design with ivory-painted wooden frames, gently curved edges, and tapered legs. The extendable dining table has an oval tabletop, a curved apron with subtle decorative detailing, and two removable extension leaves that allow it to expand into an elongated oval configuration. Accompanying the table are eight matching dining chairs, consisting of six side chairs and two armchairs. Each chair has a gently curved top rail, a slender spindle back, and a padded seat upholstered in blue and white floral-patterned fabric. The armchairs have gracefully curved armrests that complement the overall Scandinavian design. These are discontinued models with the brand and are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. The painted surfaces display visible wear consistent with age and usage, including scratches, scuffs, minor paint loss, and areas of discoloration. One chair seat cushion needs new upholstery as it was bleached. Made in Sweden.
