Originally conceived as architectural elements—perhaps once part of an overdoor or boiserie ensemble—the floral forms have been sensitively preserved and mounted vertically on custom lucite bases with brass mounts, allowing them to function today as striking sculptural accents. Each carved piece is hand-gilded and displays a well-patinated surface with highlights that catch the light beautifully.

Mounted upright, these carvings can easily integrate into contemporary or classical interiors as objets d’art on a console, mantel, or pedestal. Their dimensionality and craftsmanship give them the presence of fine sculpture, while their provenance adds antique character. The arrangement of blossoms and leaves, composed in gentle vertical rhythm, evokes the naturalism associated with French or Italian Rococo design, though the execution is crisp enough to suggest later reinterpretation in the 19th century.

Elegant, tall, and unique—these are perfect for adding vertical interest and a historical note to any space. See less
