A striking and monumental 18-inch antique Art Nouveau ceramic floor vase featuring an exceptionally dense, all-over polychrome floral motif. Adhering to the late 19th-century European fascination with Chinoiserie and botanical aesthetics, the vase showcases vibrant hand-painted crimson, pink, and ice-blue blossoms nestled within intricate light green foliage, all brilliantly offset by a deep cobalt blue ground.
The vase boasts a commanding, elegant silhouette featuring a slender, elongated trumpet-style neck that smoothly transitions into a dramatic, bulbous lower body before gently tapering to its base. Its substantial scale makes it an exemplary statement piece for entryways, mantels, or formal living spaces.
The underside is stamped with the authentic manufacturer's hallmark: a detailed crown enclosed within a laurel wreath, directly underscored by the pattern name "Cretona" in cursive script and the uppercase letter "L". The base features visible fine-line age crazing consistent with authentic late 19th-to-early 20th-century art pottery.

This antique vase is in remarkable structural shape for its age, showcasing vibrant colors and remaining free of any chips, cracks, or structural repairs. • Crazing: Light, fine-line age crazing is present uniformly across the glazed surface, which is completely normal for authentic antique earthenware and adds appropriate period character. • Interior wear: There is some minor interior wear and discoloration inside the neck and base from historical use, which is purely cosmetic and entirely hidden when the piece is displayed. less
