Artisan-crafted in Italy, the two mirrors were designed as a complementary pair, creating a particularly striking symmetrical display.

Each frame is constructed from solid beechwood with mixed decorative materials, allowing the elaborate ornamentation to achieve considerable depth and definition. Flowing scrollwork, floral details, sweeping curves and classical Rococo motifs extend throughout the frames.

The most distinctive feature is the sculptural female profile at the crest of each mirror. One female face looks to the left while the other looks to the right, emphasizing that these mirrors were designed to visually complement one another. Displayed together, the opposing profiles create an elegant sense of balance and symmetry.

The frames have been professionally refinished in a softly luminous antique-silver finish, which highlights the raised decoration while retaining subtle tonal variation and vintage character.

The generous full-length mirror glass makes the pair both decorative and practical. They work beautifully in a bedroom, dressing room, grand hallway, entrance or formal living space, particularly when positioned on either side of a doorway, fireplace, console or other architectural feature.
