Incredible and rare pair of large Staffordshire pottery spill vases, each depicting a red-and-white cow with a nursing calf beneath a leafy tree trunk. Made circa 1880 in England. Hand-painted details include expressive faces, green pastoral bases, blue streams, and orange-red vase interiors. Their opposing poses make a lovely display together on a mantel, sideboard, or shelf, while their generous size and colorful decoration bring character to an English country or cottage interior.
Will be carefully DOUBLE BOXED with plenty of materials to help ensure its safe arrival at its new home. Please message me if you have any questions.
