Visually striking and with a significant weight, this refined table and desk clock is crafted from heavy gilded brass with glass, crafted by fine Italian craftsmanship and signed "Collection d'Art."
· Subject and Style: Inspired by the classic Parisian pendulum clock, it features a quadrangular body embellished with rich foliate scrollwork in relief, a molded and beaded bezel in relief, onion-shaped feet, and a large ring at the top for carrying the clock. Contrasting white dial with italicized Arabic numerals, a railway minute track, and contoured, perforated hands.
· Material and Movement: Solid, thick, solid brass construction with a polished, mirror-like gold finish; snap-lock back cover finely stamped with the original "Collection d'Art" and "Made in Italy" marks; internal, battery-powered quartz movement, reliable and precise.
Ideal for: Executive desks, fireplaces, period desks, entryway consoles, and for connoisseurs of classic and dramatic decorative clocks.
