A charming vintage French tole planter featuring a softly distressed sage-green finish, delicate hand-painted floral decoration, and a beautifully scalloped rim. Blush pink roses, coral blossoms, and blue-green foliage create a romantic, timeworn look, while the petite metal side handles add an elegant decorative detail.
Dating to the mid-20th century, this French decorative accent has the character of a well-collected European country house piece. The softly aged patina and painterly florals make it especially appealing for French country, English cottage, Hollywood Regency, and eclectic interiors.
Style it on a console, dining table, or bookshelf, or use it as a decorative vessel for a small potted plant, preserved botanicals, or collected treasures. Equally lovely displayed on its own as a distinctive piece of vintage French décor.
