The massive brass tray top ( it lifts off of the base ) is 55” wide and Rococo in style. The brass sits on a well made faux bamboo base marked “made in Italy”.
The brass inside surface measures 36” x 21” giving one plenty of room to display favorite items while accommodating cocktails. The surface is surrounded by scrolls and shell motifs which have just enough patina to show the age of the piece.
The faux bamboo base is carved wood with 6 legs joined by stretchers providing stability. The underside is marked by an unknown maker in Italy.
This table will create a strong presence in so many different styles, Hollywood Regency, chinoiserie, and traditional.. it goes anywhere. It came from the estate of a collector north of New Orleans. See less
