The floral design wraps around the rounded body, with oversized stylized blooms and flowing foliage set against a cream-colored ground dotted with delicate golden accents. A bold cobalt blue geometric border encircles the shoulders beneath the softly flared green neck. The combination of saturated colors, intricate detailing and graceful proportions reflects the distinctive artistry of Dutch Gouda pottery during the early 20th century.

Produced in 1922, the vase bears the PZH Lazarus Gate factory mark, the Cozuna decoration name, Holland, shape number 814 and a diamond-shaped date symbol associated with that production year.

A wonderful addition to a collection of antique European ceramics, this substantial vase also makes a beautiful statement piece on a mantel, console or bookshelf.

Measures approximately 10.5” tall and 5” wide at the belly.
