Dating back to the circa 1850–1870 era, this exquisite set beautifully captures the romantic curves of the Louis Philippe / Neo-Rococo style. It serves as both a functional writing workspace and a breathtaking statement piece for a living room, bedroom, or home office.
Exquisite Woodwork & Craftsmanship
The set is masterfully constructed from rich, solid European walnut and showcases exceptional walnut burl (root wood) veneer panels. The front drawers, upper cabinetry, and desk face feature a highly figured, marbled grain pattern that catches the light beautifully. The classic cabriole legs give the desk a graceful, lightweight silhouette typical of the mid-to-late Victorian era.
The Matching Chair
The accompanying solid walnut chair is a work of art on its own. The splat features a charming, hand-painted romantic vignette of a historical couple, framed by elegant gold-leaf scrollwork accents.
