Magical trio of found vintage boxes transformed into hand painted and faux finished works of art by Princeton artist Karen Guarriello. She perfected her style at NY’s Isabel O’Neil Studio for the Painted Finish. These octagonal treasure boxes in graduating sizes have sparrow on one, chickadee on another and hummingbird on the last. The faux tortoise finish and gold powder contrasts beautifully with the ivory and black pen and ink renderings on top, inspired by Audubon drawings.
